NAMI Family and Friends Primer
NAMI Family & Friends is a 90 minute mental health primer for people with a loved one living with a mental health condition. It’s also an opportunity to meet other people in similar situations. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to express interest in our Mental Health Primer. We are moving to an online format for our April 11, 2020 session while our education host location is on COVID-19 protocols.
NAMI Davidson Co. hosts Family & Friends monthly on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute (MTMHI) at 221 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Nashville, 37214. The class is free. Pre-registration is required. Attendees must be 18 years and up. An ID, such as a driver’s license is required. No large purses or backpacks are allowed.
Class will not be held if it falls directly on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, or July 4th. Additionally, if inclement weather should cause schools to close, or result in weather warnings (not watches), class will not be held.
