Mental Health Cooperative
Major provider of mental health and co-occurring services, TennCare Provider, Crisis Stabilization Unit, Chidren’s Crisis Services, Case Management and Crisis Respite. Contract service provider of Davidson County Jail Behavioral Services.
Provides psycho-social rehab for persons with mental illness, a drop-in center and also a good resource for housing information and has a transitional residential unit for young women with co-occurring disorders.

Tennessee Disability Coalition
An alliance of advocates and providers for persons with a broad spectrum of disabilities. Excellent resource for public policy and required accomodations and as a starting place for information on applying for disability payments.
Tennessee Health Consumers Association (TMCHA)
Provider of classes on mental health recovery and active legislative advocacy. Host of several peer support drop-in centers across the state. BRIDGES and WRAP classes.
Tennessee Healthcare Campaign (THCC)
Excellent resource for information and advocacy on the Affordable Care Act and resources for the uninsured.
Tennessee Justice Center (TJC)
Work on public policy and law advocacy to make sure people have equal access to healthcare and other services.
Hosts the Redline 24 hour information line on alcohol and drug (co-occurring) treatment resources and acts as a clearing house for federal information publications.
Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN)
Host of the state Suicide Prevention hotline. Also offers support to persons who have attempted to complete suicide and to family members of persons who have completed suicide. Offers QPR, a layman’s training for suicide intervention.
