Tennessee state legislators tell us they pay attention when they hear from their constituents. Phone calls, emails, and handwritten notes are all effective ways to communicate on advocacy issues related to behavioral health policy. We encourage people to communicate concisely and respectfully once educated on policy related issues.
If you are not sure who your State Representative or State Senator is you can easily look them up through the FIND MY LEGISLATOR feature on the Tennessee General Assembly website. Once there, fill in your address information and your legislators will be shown. You can click through their profiles for contact information, and on legislation they are sponsorsing or co-sponsoring, the committees they are active on, and the latest status on bills.
