COPING CALENDAR & APPS
Action for Happiness, a nonprofit out of the United Kingdom (actionforhappiness.org), shares their Coping Calendar of positive and uplifting daily actions. These are not meant to be therapeutic interventions, but positive, and light actions, that you might take to redirect sadness, loneliness, isolation or depression. Perhaps there is one action here you would like to try, and then perhaps another . . .
The VA PTSD Center has some helpful apps that are available to everyone. The PTSD Coach App was developed for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that can affect mood, anxiety, and other emotional responses familiar to people outside of armed services experiences. We encourage you to explore this or other Apps that might be helpful for practical management throughout the day.
